Parent Learning

Each term Farrer staff offer workshops for parents.  These workshops are held during school time and after school hours.  The workshops take many forms from information sessions to interactive workshops.  We have successfully run a number of workshops this year which have provided parents with strategies and knowledge about specific areas.  Some of our workshops include:

• Kindergarten Information Sessions
• Information about Book Club
• Social Development and Friendships
• Helping your child at home with literacy
• Helping your child at home with numeracy
• Resource making days
• Count Me In Too (understanding number)
• Helping in the classroom
